Various factors affect the livelihoods of rural households. These factors may have beneficial effects on livelihood opportunities and contribute to their livelihood sustainability; or it may have negative effects on livelihood opportunities and cause instability and instability of livelihoods. The identification of livelihood factors, especially in the eastern border areas of the country that are in a state of instability, is very important for the success of poverty reduction and livelihoods policies. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the local and family factors of shaking and instability of livelihoods in border villages. The aim of the present study, functional and combination method (qualitative and quantitative) is. Rural participatory evaluation and interview were used to identify the local factors. A questionnaire was used to survey family factors and collecting quantitative data. The statistical population of rural households is township Saravan (N= 25986). Using the Cochran formula, 370 households were selected as samples. To analyze the quantitative data, a binary logistic model (LM-Newton-Marcard-Raphson method) and descriptive statistics were used. The results of identifying local factors showed that the weakness of natural resources, inappropriate production of infrastructure, services, and public facilities, and among the family factors of the unsuitable economic and natural factors, had the most relationship with the rural liveliness instability. In response to livelihood instability, households chose to deal with false jobs, such as smuggling fuel and goods. The results of the research can be used to identify the factors of rural liveliness instability and poverty reduction and livelihood sustainability in the villages of the region and the country.
