Abstract
The influx of immigrants to big cities and the need to respond to the needs of the urban population has led to the expansion of the city to its surroundings and the threat to the city's privacy and boundaries, which results in the destruction of the natural ecosystem around the cities. This is despite the fact that many lands inside the cities have been left behind from the development process and have caused the inefficiency of the central areas of the cities. Therefore, the main goal of the current research is to investigate and evaluate the intermediate development in urban lands in Ardabil city. The current research has dealt with this issue with an analytical approach in the development of middle-estate in the city of Ardabil and by using statistical-spatial methods. The type of research is descriptive-analytical. The methodology of this research is based on quantitative-spatial approaches. The research method used in this research is a combination of document-library methods. In the analytical section, taking into account the indicators and considerations of intermediate development in the form of 10 target indicators, the feasibility of intermediate development in Ardabil city has been investigated on a case-by-case basis. In this research, in order to evaluate the patterns of urban land with an emphasis on the development of intermediates in the city of Ardabil, geographic information system (GIS) software and the analysis of overlay functions (weighted overlay) and ANP are used. has been taken . The results of examining the pattern of urban land based on intermediate development indicators show that one area of Ardabil city is due to worn-out fabric and four area of Ardabil is due to the establishment of low-lying areas, whose fabric is often worn out and their materials are less durable.
