Abstract
Today, in order to improve the quality of life of citizens and respond to their increasing needs in areas such as clean transportation, desirable urban spaces, suitable environment, new approaches such as sustainable cities, smart cities, and resilient cities should be used. In this research, while identifying the component of smart environment, using the future research approach, structural analysis of the mutual influence of drivers of smart environment in Mashhad metropolis has been done. The current research has been carried out in terms of practical purpose and using descriptive and analytical methods and using the matrix of mutual effects in the soft release of Mik Mak. After identifying the indicators and designing the questionnaire, in order to identify the degree of influence and effectiveness of the indicators, the opinions of 30 specialists and experts related to the subject were taken using non-random sampling and analyzed in the Mik Mak software. The results showed that the index of filling the data with two rotations is equal to 93.63%, which shows the high coefficient of influence of the variables on each other. The findings of the research show that the indicators of use of new energies and development of environmental laws with a score of 38 have the highest direct influence on other research indicators. In total, the distribution of indicators in the direct and indirect dependency effect map showed that Mashhad metropolis is in an unstable condition in terms of smart environment indicators.
