Investigating the Status of Urban Housing Facilities and the Level of Satisfaction with the Living Environment in the Region 9 of Tehran

Abstract
The main goal of this research was to investigate the condition of housing facilities and its relationship with the level of satisfaction with the living environment in the region 9 of Tehran. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the research indicators were obtained from the residents of the region using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by SPSS software, using one-sample T-test and regression test. Iran, as a developing country, has faced the growing trend of urbanization and its challenges in recent decades, especially in the housing sector. Providing housing in the last few decades has been one of the most important problems of various classes, especially low-income families. One of the indicators that is very important in determining the quality of housing and is an integral part of housing planning, is the facilities and basic services of housing. The results of one-sample T-test showed that according to the residents, the condition of housing facilities in region 9 is inappropriate in some indicators and average in others. The results of the multiple regression analysis also showed that the variables the presence of heating facilities and... (0.966), the adequacy of space allocation in the residential property (0.667) and the quality of construction (0.459). They have the most importance to achieve satisfaction from the living environment. The results of the regression analysis test using the Stepwise method for more accurate output also show that 7 variables out of 11 variables were confirmed with high correlation. Therefore, adequacy of space allocation in residential property (0.534) and construction quality (0.461), respectively, show the highest percentage of influence among the variables.
