Arranging the applicative structure of rural housings with an emphasis on the model of allocating service giving places (Case study: the city of Kalaat)

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to arrange the inappropriate network of rural housings; in order to stabilize the rural population. To do this, the writers of the article have used the factor and cluster analysis methods. They have also used place allocation model in the environment of GIS. The statistical analysis shows that the area does not have an appropriate applicative structure. In order to create an applicative hierarchical arrangement of rural housings, information layers were analyzed in GIS environment and the place allocating model were used based on the criteria of distance and accessibility. Based on the above mentioned analysis, rural housings were divided into four levels of systems, collections, areas and series.
