Abstract
In the Literature of development and planning, “evaluation” is considered as one of the necessities of this process. Without this process, not only planning and decision-making will not be completed but also it will omit the dynamic elements from the optimized decision making and development feedback processes. Taking the importance of this issue into account, and revising and betterment of the future plans, we should admit that evaluation is much more important than what was before. Although the impact of these projects can be either positive or negative, the aim of this research is to evaluate the effects of Imam Khomeini Emdad Committee in Nowbandegan and central parts of Fasa. This will help to identify the effectiveness of the above said plans in development of the region, particularly from the point of view of increase in participation. The assumption of this paper is to find out a meaningful relation between implemented plans of Imam Khomeini Emdad Committee and the participation of villagers. Imam Khomeini Emdad Committee is one of the foundations that conducts self-sufficiency programs including services, agricultural and industrial plans in Iranian rural areas. The methodology used in this paper is descriptive and analytical. Using Panel Method, the living conditions of the villagers is studied before and after the execution of the plans. The results of the research indicate that the assumption is 95% acceptable.
