Abstract
Investigating management practiced on watersheds is necessary. This study explores successful and unsuccessful mechanical and biological practices by comparing watershed conditions and sediments before and after their management. Results show a 35% observed decrease of sediment in watershed area, depending mostly on mechanical practices which accommodate gabions, dams and biological practices. Positive and negative effects of these practices are also addressed.
