Neglecting the socio-cultural issues of the society makes urban life face complex issues and challenges. Therefore, in order to strengthen part of urban life, socio-cultural issues such as: development, participation, etc. have been discussed in cities. In this regard, the present research in order to select the best socio-cultural approach in the development of Isfahan city. In terms of developmental-applicative purpose, in terms of descriptive-analytical nature, it collects information through documentary-library and field methods. The statistical population includes: experts and related officials in Isfahan city, and the sample size was determined and completed with 50 and 62 questionnaires using the snowball method. 46 indicators of the trustees' questionnaire and 41 indicators of the experts' questionnaire were examined in six dimensions (environmental, social, cultural, economic, physical and managerial-political). In addition, by using EXCELE, SPSS software and factor analysis technique, among 46 indicators, four factors (environmental-cultural, social, physical and economic) were recognized as the overall and superior factor. which together constitute 66.985% of the cumulative variance of primary variables. Also, with the pairwise comparison of 41 items that was done with the AHP technique, it showed the necessity of the managers and officials of urban planning and development to prioritize the planning of regions 14,15,11,7,2 and 9. Finally, suggestions such as: creating gender equality in different situations, raising the level of interaction between people and officials, preserving social capital, increasing economic growth and prosperity, etc. have been presented in the form of space and time in relation to the city of Isfahan.
