It is a serious point to put sustainability into effect with the intention of healthy environment. Health, according to the United Nation Development Program (UNDP) is one of the important indicators which shows development level in each country. Health is extremely meaningful and is associated with a great part of urban and regional planning policies as a main aspiration. It also contains many factors like quality parameters and healthy environment for cities or rural regions. This paper tries to clarify the definition of health in urban and regional planning literature. The results of the study show that the northern zone of Mashhad, Ghorghi village in Tabadkaan, some parts in Mayamey and around Jim Aabaad and Narimany villages are in a great danger from health view point. Some other places are Toos village and peripheral lands of Mashhad-Chenaaraan highway, Main Velaayat, Bizaky and Chenaaraan. In the future programs of development in these areas, health status should be considered.
