Synoptical analysis of anticyclones on the continuous drought in Khorasan Province

Abstract
Khorasan Province has a dry and semi-arid climate. This condition is the result of lack of annual rain in the long term. The three models of synoptics are very important in the formation of this drought in Khorasan Province; among them, anticyclones are the most important ones. 61/6% of the drought in Khorasan Province is the result of the activity of anticyclones. The writer of this article studies the effect of this phenomenon on the continuous drought in Khorasan Province.
