Abstract
Objectives: Badr is a definition of a smart rural village, self-sufficient and with the spirit of empowering human resources (especially rural youth) by using available natural resources and suitable rural technologies that lead to promoting decentralized management and creating employment with the help of government organizations. And it becomes non-governmental. Nowadays, the smart growth approach plays a very important role in sustainable rural development. This approach tries to improve the quality of people's lives and tries to respond to socio-economic, environmental and physical issues and problems, and it can open the way for rural management to optimally use facilities and solve rural problems. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to examine the status of the components of good governance and smart growth in the rural settlements of Kashan city.
Method: The statistical population of the research was the heads of rural households in Kashan city (N = 364482), and using the Karjesi-Morgan table, the statistical sample size was calculated as 379 people. In order to obtain the samples in this research, a multi-stage sampling method was used. The value of Cronbach's alpha obtained for good governance indicators is equal to 0.75 and for intelligent growth indicators is 0.78. SPSS version 24 and AMOS software packages were used for data analysis. Findings and results: Based on the obtained results, the components of good governance and intelligent growth were evaluated with an average of 3.120 and 2.643 respectively in the villages of Kashan city as average and below the optimal level, and between the components Good governance with knowledge and intelligent growth had causal relationships with favorable indicators (RMSEA=0.027).
Conclusion: Based on the findings of the research, improving the indicators of legality, transparency, accountability, efficiency and effectiveness, participation, consensus, justice-oriented and accountability are effective in the development of smart growth.
