Abstract

One of the biggest triggers of urban spontaneous contexts is the degree of social resilience and tolerance of change in these societies, which we call "social resilience". Social resilience includes the conditions under which individuals and social groups adapt to environmental changes and in fact reflects the ability of society to respond to crises. The main purpose of this study is to identify the effective components in promoting the social dimension of resilience of Sohrabieh neighborhood of Karaj city as a spontaneous settlement. The general approach of the research is quantitative and in terms of data collection method, it is based on library and field data. Statistical sample of heads of households and experts overlooking the situation of the neighborhood were selected using random sampling. The indicators were examined in the general framework of indicators of social capital, social mechanism, social structure, justice in access to social services, and social belief Research data were analyzed using SPSS software and non-parametric statistics. The results show that the highest correlation coefficient belongs to social capital (P <0.01, R = 0.542) and the lowest Pearson correlation coefficient belongs to social structure. The most effects of social capital in items X1  (participation and Citizens' cooperation in times of crisis) with a regression weight of 0.852 and X3 Assistance to urban management in times of crisis with a regression weight of 0.838 and the neighborhood bond of trust between citizens and city managers with a regression weight of 0.818.ith a regression weight of 0.852 and X3 Assistance to urban management in times of crisis with a regression weight of 0.838 and the neighborhood bond of trust between citizens and city managers with a regression weight of 0.818
