Abstract

In recent years, the amount of disturbance caused by mining activities has increased in response to the increasing economic demands. The country of Iran is exceptional in terms of mineral diversity and is among the 15 countries rich in minerals in the world. But the most important problem is that the mined lands have been neglected and left alone after extraction, despite the provision of legal materials and funding channels for reconstruction measures. Although in Iran, the relevant laws, such as mining laws, refer to the issue of mine rehabilitation and financing. Identifying and analyzing these complications and related processes represents a challenge for understanding the transformation of the earth's landscapes. Geomorphic approaches and their understanding are increasingly used in mineral land restoration designs. Geomorphic reconstruction is an alternative method to the old methods for the reconstruction of landscapes caused by mining. It is often synonymous with the geomorphic reconstruction of a river, which is mostly followed using the GeoFluv method, which was successfully used by the world's largest mining company in New Mexico in 2002 and in the United States in 2005 as a computer software for The design and reconstruction of areas affected by mining were applied based on the scientific principles of geomorphology. It provides the possibility of designing landforms that are formed naturally under the climatic and physiographic conditions of the site. Lack of sufficient experience in the country in the field of reconstruction, in this article, this geomorphic reconstruction method has been tried to be introduced and used as a newer method in the reconstruction of landscapes related to exploited mines.
