Guidelines for authors

In order to facilitate the process of reviewing and publishing manuscripts, all researchers who wish to publish their manuscript in this journal are requested to pay attention to the following guidelines; otherwise the journal will not accept the manuscript:

1- The article will be submitted only through the journal website (https://jgrd.um.ac.ir)

2- The submitted article must not have been previously published in any national or international journal. The editorial board of the journal expects that the authors not to submit their manuscript to another journal for publication until they receive the rejection letter from the journal

3-  Acknowledgments: The authors should mention to the organizations or persons who were influential in their research and acknowledge them. Also, if necessary, the financial sponsor of the research is mentioned in this section and is appreciated.

4- Manuscript type: When submitting a manuscript, the type of it must be selected according to its content, volume and structure.

4-1- Manuscript types: research articles, review articles, short communications, case studies, methodologies, applied researches, opinions, conceptual, technical and promotional researches.

5- Dear authors, manuscripts that are not prepared based on the journal format will be returned to the author and will not be evaluated.

6-   The font of the Persian manuscripts should be Lotus, 13 and for English manuscripts, Times New Roman, 11 in Word software.

Paper size: A4 sheet

Top and bottom margins: 5cm        

Left and right margins: 4cm

Line spacing: single

The font of the main title and subtitle should be B-Lotus, 12 (Bold).

The font of the Persian footer:  B-Lotus, 10   The font of the English footer: Times New Roman, 10 

7-      The number of pages (Including the space required for tables, figures, summaries, results and references) should be at most 25 pages.

8-  For Persian manuscript (including the space between the words), the title should not exceed 60 characters, and font should be Black Lotus, 13.

9- Author details: The name of the author(s) and their academic position should be written in B-Lotus,10 (Bold), the e-mail address should be written in Times New Roman 10 (Bold) under the title of the article in the middle of the line (first name, last name, academic position, specialty and email address).

10- The figures of each manuscript include curves, graphs, photos, and maps are all numbered equally as figure. The title of tables should be in B-Lotus (Bold), 11. The figures should be prepared in color or black and white with suitable quality and their numbers and titles should be written below them. The photos should be clear, their contents legible and scaled. It is necessary to mention the source of photos or figures adopted from other sources.The titles of the tables should be placed at the top of the tables in B-Lotus (Bold), 11, according to the format of the journal and the references should be written below the table title in the middle of the line. 

11- The text of the tables should be in B- Lotus, 10 in the middle of the line.

12- The English equivalent of important words in the main text should be given in the footnote with direct numbering for each page.

13-  The structure and main body of the article should be adjusted as follows (Point: the order of the parts should be considered):

1. Introduction

2.  Literature Review

3.  Methodology

4.  Theoretical foundations of research

5.  Results

6.   Conclusion and suggestion

14-  The main titles should be numbered in Persian with a dot. Also, avoid putting a colon (:) after the main titles.Also, if there are sub-titles, they should be placed under one of the main titles.The numbering of the sub-titles as an example for the introduction should be as follows:

  1. 1. .............

                1.2. ...........

It means that the number of the main body should be placed first 

15- The Persian abstract should be 300 characters and you should choose 3-5 words as keywords.

16-  How to cite: The references should be mentioned in the text as well as at the end of the manuscript. It should be noted that the source used in the text must be mentioned in the references and the sources mentioned in the references must be used in the text.

16-1- References in the main text of the manuscript must be according to APA style, in such a way that in the parentheses, the name of the author or authors are mentioned first and the year of publication and the page number come then.

We should mention that citation to printed works should be in Farsi, and English sources should be translated into Farsi, and the last name of the author or authors must be inserted in English in the footnote (in Farsi and English footnotes, a period should be placed after the number).

17-  Review: The reviewing process is done on articles that have the necessary innovation, especially in the theory and applied methodology section. In addition, the reviewers

18- The necessary files for submission are:

- A copy of the main text of the manuscript in Word file format, in which the identity of the authors is given.

- A copy of the main text of the manuscript in Word file format, in which the identity of the authors is not mentioned.

- Title page: It should include the title of the manuscript, the names of the authors, their academic position in Farsi and English, and the email address and contact number of the authors that should be uploaded separately in the supplementary files section on the site. (The corresponding author of the manuscript should be specified)

Suggest reviewers

The authors are requested to suggest 3 reviewers from other organizations but in the field of their manuscript when submitting their articles.

Dear authors, please complete authorship statement form and conflict of interest form and then submit to the journal website.

19- The journal has the right to reject or accept as well as edit the manuscript and the articles will not be returned. The original rejected or withdrawn articles will be removed from the journal archive after three months, and the journal will not be responsible for that.

20-The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the content. Therefore, a copy of the manuscript ready to be printed will be emailed to the corresponding author for final revision. If no response is received from the authors within a week, it will be considered as withdrawal and will be postponed to future issues, and if no response is received again, the article will be removed from the priority of publication in the journal.
