Abstract
The geopolitical relations between Iran and the United States of America are of great importance in geopolitical discussions due to the position of the two actors on a regional and global scale. Although these two actors did not have diplomatic political relations due to the political differences that occurred after the Islamic Revolution, they had extensive geopolitical relations, so these relations during the last century and especially in the last four decades have been of various types. It has included an experienced harmonious to tense relationships. in which the geopolitical components of the actors have played a very important role, therefore, in the present research, with a descriptive-analytical approach, following the investigation of the relations between Iran and America based on the geopolitical components in the natural dimension, which includes the geographical position of the sea, the geographical position of the land, The geographical location of the crossing, the size of the territory, the state of natural resources (oil and gas), the state of natural resources (mines), the state of biological resources (water, soil, sun, etc.), the number of neighbors, strategic depth, control over the straits and Energy transmission corridors have been strategic conflicts (territorial tensions with neighbors).
